Progress is happening at YWAM Cabo

Hosting Missionaries and Pastors

We have had the busiest, happiest time hosting missionaries and pastors this past month.  Finally Olas Retreat is being used how we feel God intended.  Its a relaxing place and people are really appreciating time away to truly slow down, and often make big decisions with their next steps.  We have also hosted a fantastic outreach team from YWAM Kona Ships for the month of August. Summer has arrived and so have the missionaries.  We are so happy we are getting to host missionaries and pastors from near and far.  We also had our lovely friends the Pyne family come and visit.  Such a treat for our whole family! Our crazy life ......

 Sometimes Brendan and I look at each other and wonder if we are crazy, but we do know this is where God placed us. 5 months of us learning to run a hotel/retreat,  welcoming missionaries and pastors in need of refreshment,  additions being added to our home. settling our kids into Mexican school, all of us battling to learn Spanish, plus bringing a puppy into the mix.  Needless to say life has been full!  But i wouldn't change it for the world.  Its a stu...

ROUGHING IT

Yes our family has given up comfy beds and we are 3/4 thru leading an 8 week outreach for a team of 7 YWAM students. We have traveled by cattle truck, river boat, bus, ferry, and the back of utes.  Sleeping on floors with ants or worse to keep us company has not always been easy, but it’s an unforgettable experience.  We’re super grateful we have got to be part of incredible ministries, visiting orphanages, feeding people who live on the rubbish dump, connecting with homeless peo...

Back in Mexico

We're back in Mexico. After an easy flight and great border crossing we are settling back into life at YWAM SDB in Tijuana.  Things are busy here, teams are coming mainly from the States for weekend house builds to provide much needed homes for Mexican families. Back to the Future
